A Sunday Well Spent: Friends, Food, and Adventure

Hi readers! I’m always up for going on an adventure and I love to explore! Last week in school during lunchtime I took out my phone, looked at the weather and saw that it was going to be sunny, beautiful and warm on the weekend… I knew that I had to do something. My twin sister Cammie and I picked up our phones immediately and texted our friend Francesca because we haven’t seen her in awhile and she’s always down for a fun time! We planned that we were going to explore a local college campus, do a mini photoshoot, and grab crepes after for a late lunch! I think that it so important to get out of the house and explore local beauty and nature especially with friends and family…you are bound to have an awesome time! Below I am going to show you guys the pictures we took on our day of exploration along with some descriptions…let’s get into it!

As soon as we got into town, we entered through the main entrance of the University because the building is covered in gorgeous ivy. We immediately set up camp and started our mini photoshoot! My camera was put to work snapping hundreds of pics and I loved every second of it. These were some of my favorite pics of the day. I must admit that I love posing for the camera :p

I adore being in front of the camera just as much as I adore being behind the camera! Photography is something that I am so passionate about so whenever I get the opportunity to take pictures I go for it! I snapped some pictures of these gorgeous girls…Francesca is in the brown leather jacket and Cammie has the gorgeous curly hair! They were so much fun to photograph!

I live for capturing special moments with my friends so having a sister who is an amazing photographer is a blessing…she is able to document all of the awesome times with my girls! Cammie took some pics of me and Francesca and I love how they turned out! We are always laughing and smiling when we are together and I can’t wait to look back one day and remember how much fun we had.

The outfit that I wore showcases some of my favorite spring trends of the season! I am wearing a jet black off the shoulder top with flutter sleeves, distressed light washed jeans, and a pair of Vans classic slip-ons in perforated black leather.

As we were touring around the campus we made a stop at one of my favorite building’s that has gorgeous marble stairs. Francesca and I wanted to recreate the Gossip Girl moment where Blair and Serena are sitting on the met steps so we plopped down and got to posing! I carried around my mint green purse with me which is totally trending this Spring…it’s all about pastel colors and I love it!

The architecture of this campus is absolutely incredible. I loved taking pictures of this beautiful college and I love how different each building is…it goes from stone, to marble and the ivy is just adds charm and character. I had a blast strolling around and taking in the awesome energy that this campus provides.

Roaming around all day sure does stir up an appetite so we walked into town and payed a visit to our favorite crepe shop! Cammie and Francesca got savory crepes and I got a sweet crepe…I have legit the biggest sweet tooth ever just sayin! My crepe was so ridiculously delicious that I’m still currently dreaming about it. I got a crepe filled with brownies…yes brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with salted caramel. Honestly I just want to give a hug to whoever came up with this LOL! Of course I had to share it with the girls because it was too good for them to not experience the amazingness!

I hope you all enjoyed reading about my day with Cammie and Francesca! I encourage you all to get outside and explore the beauty that is right outside your door…adventure awaits! xo, Lexie
