Hey readers! I hope everyone had a lovely Easter if you celebrate and if not a lovely Sunday! Easter is such a special and beautiful holiday and my family looks forward to celebrating it every year. We always get dressed up and go to a nice brunch after church service! My mom always chooses a new place to go for brunch each year to keep things fun and exciting. We like to mix things up! This year we went to a beautiful hotel where my parents got married down the shore. It was so cool to go there because I have only ever seen the hotel in pictures and it was awesome to see my parents reminiscing and hearing adorable stories about their wedding day. After brunch we went down by the ocean to take some pictures and nothing makes me happier than posing in the sunshine and hearing the waves crash in the background! Below are some of my favorite moments from the day and outfit details! Let’s get into it ->
Brunch at the hotel was amazing! I started off the meal with some coffee and orange juice. As far as food goes I got some Belgium waffles which were to die for…they were so fluffy and light! I also got some roasted potatoes, sausage and fresh fruit! The honeydew and cantaloupe were so fresh and sweet. I had the nicest time just sitting around the table with my family telling stories, laughing till our stomachs hurt, and being thankful for the day and for His resurrection.
I love curling my hair and the best iron I have ever used is the NuMe 32 inch wand. It is super easy to use and gives you soft and bouncy curls! The wind did wonders for my hair and gave me the perfect tousled look I was going for. To go with the romantic curls, I wanted a pretty pink lip for Easter so I used my NYX liquid suede lipstick in tea and cookies (refer to my perfect pink pout post to read all about it).
Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always had so much fun picking out my Easter dress! This year things haven’t changed and I had an awesome time scoping out all of the stores until I found the perfect dress. I decided to go with this gorgeous strapless mint green midi with intricate crochet detailing! I love pastels for Easter and midi dresses are my favorite so when I found this dress in New York and Company it had my name written all over it and I knew it was the one!
I absolutely adore my Tiffany & Co charm bracelet. Every time I wear it I feel so pretty and special! I thought that the silver in the bracelet picked up the silver hardware in my shoes perfectly. I also wore a little diamond drop necklace and a sapphire ring which you guys can see in the pictures above! The necklace and the ring were gifts from my parents and I just love wearing them.
I’m a sucker for white heels and when I saw these last year at Payless I just had to pick them up! The price was right and so was the height…nothing too high but enough to make me look really tall. I love the silver buckling detail and that it is a peep toe shoe.
Urban Outfitters makes some of my favorite sunnies and I fell in love with these retro shades last summer and have worn them constantly ever since.
As soon as my photoshoot wrapped up, it was time for mother nature to have her time in the spotlight! I absolutely love snapping pics of the beach because of how much life and movement the ocean has. Every time I am at the beach I have this overwhelming feeling of thankfulness just to be in the presence of something so beautiful that God created for us.
